MWM's Bootle facility is a full waste transfer station and the company also operates a fleet of skips, roll-on-off vehicles and tippers throughout the area.

Merseyside Waste Management is also contracted to Sefton Metropolitan Council and Liverpool City Council for waste materials collection and skip hire. The new recycling plant is separating and producing a wide variety of saleable products from the waste raw materials. These include topsoil, plastics, cardboard, ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals and clean wood for chipboard manufacture. Rubble and oversize stone is extracted during the screening process and this is fed on to a crusher for the production of secondary aggregates.
